My FIL (Father-in-Law) requested that I make a German chocolate cake (GCC) since I like to bake. Well, that was a few months ago! I've decided to give it a try. I have no idea how to make one, I don't even think I've eaten one before so this should be interesting. I am currently searching for a beginner level GCC recipe. If anyone has a good recipe PLEASE let me know!!!! I plan on making it this weekend. I also want to attempt to bake a "real" cake with buttercream icing and all. I will be researching how to do that as well. I'll post an update with pictures once all is done. My goal is for my cake to look like the one above!!
